Move to the next thing

Tell us about a time when you felt out of place.

In midst of all my personal business last week, I heard the US Government has shut down.

You all know from my blog that we love traveling to various parks. National parks and their sites have been the go to place for us. Yes, with an autistic son most of the places we have a tough time adjusting. But with the parks it is easy for us to be in nature.

A very nice video of what would be affected with regard to travel and shut down by one of my favorite vlogger.

National park and sites will now not be in our radar until Government opens up. Until then for fall colors we are off to some state parks.

My answer to the prompt do not match but just thought I should share the video. What happens when they say a federal government shuts down their business.

By the way, I can’t shut down my day and just have to keep going. I do not have that luxury 🤦‍♀️

  2. Thank you for sharing this thoughtful reflection! 🌿 I love how you weave your personal experiences with a broader, real-world event like the government shutdown. Your honesty about the challenges of traveling with your autistic son, and how national parks have provided a space of ease and connection with nature, makes your post deeply relatable and heartwarming.

The video link adds a practical and engaging element, helping readers visualize the impact of the shutdown, while your perspective reminds us that life doesn’t pause for external circumstances—we adapt, find alternatives, and keep moving forward. Your resilience shines through, and the way you pivot to state parks for fall colors shows both creativity and determination.
