I was a very brave girl today. So here is what happened.

It was a super busy day and I really was excited to walk alone in the park today. Yes, it was dark but we had a lot of crowd because of the hot weather. At 9 pm we had brisk runners and walkers.

Then I saw something dark in the middle of the path. A stone? So, I slowly approached and I was surprised to see Mr. Frog there. By the way let me me know if it is a toad or a frog and if it is a male or a female. Logistics apart, I was brave. I didn’t jump or make any noise but enjoyed looking at it and snapped two pictures.

I am not a fan of slimy creatures but this one got my attention. My mom called me and I told her I saw a frog and that is when she said, “be careful there may be snakes around”. Yes, she had to rain on my parade. I told her not to worry but I did realize the real bonding between me and Mr. Frog. We have a common enemy. Who is that? Of course Mr. Snake.

Anything can become a highlight of your day and today was the cute little slimy Mr. Frog.
