Finally the weekends is over. There are two events almost every year our family participates compulsory. Usually they are not even close together and I have a breather. But somehow they fell in on the same weekend.
Both required my son to wait for a prayer to be done, eat food outside be in the midst of two hundred to three hundred people. We are part of sponsorship for the event and I really do not want to leave before it really get over. So, yes, he needed to be there and for it to get over until it is done I am glad this is done and dusted.
Unlike the 5ks we do which has a lot of crowd, these were religious events and as I had said multiple times autism and Hindu rituals do not interact good. Yet, thanks to so many factors me and my husband juggled it with our younger one and crossed the finish line. No medals yet a sigh of relief.
From now on, just activities that are comfortable for him alone until next year. 😊
