I opened the door to my sun room this morning and closed it fast. It was chilly. Really surprising since we have had some hot days and the cold front came from nowhere.
My fitbit app did tell me my cardio activity had been low this week. I just need to blame the weather since I stayed home a lot and went for a stroll only around sun set.
Just like winter extremes, summer extremes do make us lazy. Add on to it, sleep issues for my young man made some days more harder for me.
We have so many apps to track so many things, but nothing to counter Mother Nature. We keep hearing of floods, tsunami, earthquakes and tornado damages. In Vedic terms they are called Pancha Boothams that were feared and worshipped. Yes, it is hard to control. The five being Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether. My husband commented as soon as he finished watering the plants a drop of rain fell on his head as if to tease him. Ha Ha, we think we got control over nature but Mother Nature will always have the last laugh.

We received our third gift for doing a race with Special Olympics. The fourth race has been cancelled because of some work. The last one is Turkey Trot during Thanksgiving. Ha Ha, November not too far away.

When my app told me my cardio activity was less, I decided to do a brisk walk yesterday. But these flowers really got me side tracked. I had to give my phone to my husband so I could concentrate.

Looks like I checked off my cardio activity with my walk yesterday! This is one more statistic I can spend my time on.
Signing off now to enjoy a beautiful day.
