Should I challenge myself? Should I log about my challenge? All these thoughts went through me today as I made a walk around a trail with my young man.
It was a muggy afternoon. The sun was making us sweat. We climbed up a steep hill and walked on wet grounds. As we finished the loop, we took a selfie as we walk towards the car. I drove back home. I then checked my Fitbit app. It said we had walked 1.62 miles.

Yes, that is when I decided I should challenge myself this week. Not a huge challenge. Just something to kick start summer. I need to find a trail every day for the entire week and walk at least one and half to three miles every day. Let me tell you, I make 10,000 steps every day. I can make them inside my house and in the yard. I do not want to do that. I want it to be outside, and we have plenty of trails to accomplish my task.
This challenge is not for my young man but for me. It is for me to make the trip to the trail heads and move myself. But I think he will also get something out of it.
So will be adding my walking log every day until Sunday night to see if I kept my promise when I blog for the day.
