How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?
Today is Autism Awareness Day! So here is one of my favorite quotes!

Just remember a child does become an adult and the cycle continues! I still continue to teach my young man and it is a life long process.
Ah the pandemic! We started doing a lot of road trips and it did become part of our lives.
Kinzua State Park and Cook Forest were our first road trips to Northern Pennsylvania after we got our vaccines in May of 2021.

Then we went to New River Gorge National Park crossing the state border in June of 2021! I read that it was recognized as a National Park the previous year and that is when our journey to National Parks officially began.

For the next two years it was just road trips until we ripped the bandage and took our son on an airplane April 2023!
When my son was in his teens, it was really difficult for us to take him anywhere. Yes, for him getting into a car or out of the car was a difficult task. The behaviors did blossom big during that period. Pandemic period we found places like parks to be safe and much isolated. I think it was a blessing in disguise. For us, the pandemic was not in our front burner it was always just another thing in a back burner! Autism really takes priority!
I do not like the kind of Autism my son has but I love my young man who has been affected by it!
