My mom’s grandfather used to say to mom, if you get out of the house, you spend money! Not going out is the only solution to save money! That was his opinion more than half century ago!

We spent money going out to eat, watch movies or buy stuff! But all can now be done in the comfort of our home!!!!! The end result we can spend money sitting inside our houae as a couch potato!

The various streaming channels look cheap and free delivery of food amd goods is an added attraction!

I searched once for something related to retirement and I found so many videos by people who spend retirement in travel. They sell their house and car and spend time in hotels or cruises in different countries! They say that is cheaper than living at home and they say they are able to enjoy different places!

Some very popular destinations are Thailand, Portugal, Malaysia, Japan and some South American countries! They visit many European and Asian countries keeping one country as their center point. They have spent weeks traveling across the Atlantic and some have even gone to Antarctica.

Anyhow we budget and save for our retirement and it seems our options are endless!😀

Anyhow I do not want to sell my home and be on cruise ships! But a trip to the Panama Canal on a cruise ship is something I want to experience!

I did answer the prompt question last time and the answer remains the same! It is really hard to budget in an environment that is so unstable!
