It takes a village to raise a child! It takes more than that to raise a special child. The special child continues to need life long care and help as he becomes an adult.
In this journey I have met so many from the community who have helped us. Last October, I was connected with a wonderful group of volunteers who teach shlokas and bhajans online. Yes, a Sunday school kind for special needs children.
My son is not a kid but we decided to try it out and he has been attending the group classes! I was asked what more I need and I told I needed a craft class so that I can make stuff for my Navaratri golu. I have now been connected to a wonderful person and I am doing craft work with my boy! Yes, this is my passion and my focus for my boy and we have jumped into it with professional help 😍!

Hopefully this Navaratri I am going to have more stuff to showcase than ever. With my son’s mood swings and anxiety things are hard but when we start seeing results it is sweet.
I usually do not write two blogs in one day or write one in the afternoon, but I am sitting among some craft stuff and it got me excited!
By the way now villages can be found online.
