The past few years, the work with my boy has taken me around most of my city. In fact we have traveled so much around our town I had to zoom on my maps to see what places I have not yet visited.

The town of Geneva on the Lake is near Ashtabula and a resort destination is open year around with both summer and winter activities. It is on the shores of Lake Erie and Ohio and just a two hour drive from my home. My younger one recommended we visit this place last weekend! I think he was just kidding! Lake Erie is a snow machine this winter and they are getting pounded! I think this would be a wonderful day trip this summer and I hope we would check this place off!

Another place that has been on my bucket list is Allegheny Portage Road and this is part of National Park Service. This is less than two hours from my home. This place has great trails and if I do get a good weather weekend, I want to check it off this spring. Suggest to me a 3 mile hike anywhere near my home, I am off to that place with my boy. 😀

We had much better weather today. Grateful that the sun melted some snow off! There are videos showing on social media about some planets that are getting aligned in our sky. With cold and cloudy weather I do not think I will be able to enjoy.
