The Hualapai Indians tribe owns the Grand Canyon West Rim. Unlike the other rims which are part of Grand Canyon National Park, entrance for a person to this one is expensive.
There is sky walk and photography is not allowed and it does cost each person 50 dollars. Also, they charge 25 to 50 dollars for the pictures they take of us on the sky walk. Their skywalk cafe is expensive with a burger and fry combo being 25 dollars.
But, it was just a two hour drive from Las Vegas and we decided to spend our day yesterday at Grand Canyon. We had to spend nearly 500 dollars for our family but we finally got to see the Canyon. Was it worth it? Of course it was! There are not many hikes just a short one. After couple of days of intense hikes, this was perfect for us to enjoy the nature.
I felt a ton of energy and chanted Hanuman Chalisa! We spent more than 5 five hours and when I asked my husband was it worth, he said yes.
Anyhow we need to come back here down to visit the south rim, until that time the experience will remain.

For many years, Grand Canyon was a place we wanted to visit. We were worried about the snow in the winter amd hot temperatures in summer. We were worried my boy would be throwing tantrums amd having meltdowns and it felt as if a trip would never be possible. As we were driving back to our hotel room, we were discussing how to come back with our boy and do all the hikes in Zion and Grand Canyon.
Anyhow until the time we come hack again, we would continue our walks in our local trails and the Great Allegheny Passageway!

We did pass a Forest full of Joshua trees! We were warned not to disturb the rattle snakes! Yes, I have lost some fear to heights but not to snakes!!!!
