Okay, today our family checked off Zion National Park from our bucket list.

The past month was me just learning what I could do with my boy at the park. Yes. my Youtube home page was inundated with those videos.

The Zion shuttle was a part of my research. It was a day trip and I had to utilize and make the best of it!

We walked alongside the Virgin river, a 2.2 mile hike and enjoyed watching people get into “the narrows”.

The sight and sound became amazing.
Pictures don’t do justice!

Then a short hike called Grotto, we saw some wild life or did they see some humans?

Then came the hard part of the trip especially for me. Should I do the rest of the hikes. climbing mountains? I have heard about the famous Angels landing and took the opposite direction 😊! My boy was climbing up super fast. My eyes started instructing me to stop. That is when my younger one suggested my boy would have tough time climbing down. So me and my boy sat on a rock in the middle of a trail or a mountain 😌!

My husband and my younger one did 30 more minutes of the trail and returned back to get us. Here again pictures do not to justify the height 🤣! I was more concerned as to how I was going to go down as my right eye would just be looking at the depth!

As soon as my husband came with my younger son I handed my boy to them and started climbing down. I slipped just once and when I reached the point in the picture above I felt as if I conquered the world of fears towards heights! I stood there and waited for my family to come. A passing couple told me my son was doing great! Yes, he was climbing down slowly and he too was conquering his fears!

Kudos to my boy, he did his toughest obstacle course of his life.

As I picked my victory coffee, I promised myself I would return to Zion again in the future! I loved it!
Just a note, we have Access pass to National parks for my son that lets us in for free! I think this fact did motivate me to research more about National parks. I am glad I did it!
