It’s a cold week

Yesterday morning we woke up to a coating of snow from a system called Alberta clipper! Yup, a system from the Canadian rockies arrived at our place.

We don’t get to see the turquoise blue waters of Canada (Moraine Lake), but atleast experience the cold and snow right from the comfort of our homes!

This was a week, I had to go inside the gym compulsory to get my 10,000 steps. When the weather changes drastically, I do not feel walking out in the cold even though I am bundled up good. I love the energy inside the gym. Little kids learning to play soccer and basketball and oldies having fun with pickle ball! Oh boy, love to see the personal coaches sweating out their clients. Having gone to the gym for more than a decade most of the coaches smile and say hi to me, thank god, they don’t call me to have a lesson.

I love to people watch! I have written multiple times! It is easy to pass your time in a public place! The mall during the holidays is one great place.

A new shop! Seems the economy is picking up after the pandemic!

It was a hectic week, but so normal. Finding ways to make it interesting is the fun part!

  1. I live in Northern Alberta and the school buses have been cancelled three days out of five! It’s mild today, but freezing rain is in the forecast. Tis the season for winter weather.

    Happy Friday.

  2. Brrrr I do a lot of my 10,000 steps inside, too. It’s convenient to stop what I am doing and walk a few steps around the house. I should be like you and go to the gym, but I’m too lazy. 🙂 xxx Have a great week!

      1. It does. We have one in our mobile park and I haven’t walked over there once to use the gym. Yikes! 🙂 I don’t see anyone else doing it either. In Scottsdale people, including me, used the gym all the time.

No snow here! I live in Sydney and we’ve been having a lot of hot weather lately and I wouldn’t have minded a touch of snow.
