What is your favorite form of physical exercise?

Seven years ago, I got my fitbit watch and things have been good. My preferred exercise is making that 10,000 steps a day.

Then, for weight loss, I realized exercise doesn’t cut it. I need to cut my calorie intake of sugar and oil. When you do that, you don’t feel so energetic.

Now, I have learned to balance myself. Enjoy my snacks and have a good walk.

This year Diwali and Halloween are om the same day! I get a lot of trick pr treaters and I am still debating as what to get for the kids (chips or candies).

Then yesterday, I saw boxes of Indian sweets om sale at the Indian store. Maybe handout Indian sweets to the kids😀? Anyhow, trying a new item requires a different kind of taste bud and I do not want to disappoint my trick or treaters. So my trick or treaters would be getting something from my local Target or Walmart.

Anyhow, while growing up, globalization had not happened. We in South India, just ate South Indian sweets for Diwali or Deepavali as we call it. It was all home made and I would crave for a North Indian sweet.

Now, I can buy whatever sweet I want North or South but my inner diet devil keeps warning me about the ill effects 😊. Anyhow I picked up a few yesterday at the store. I have planned to make a lot of savory items this week with my boy. Yes, in South India, savouries are a big part of our Deepavali celebrations.

So the next week, 10,000 steps will not cut it. I need to push it to 15,000 steps. My favorite physical activity 😊!

Remember the person handing out the treats eats them in par with the trick or treaters 😀!
