What profession do you admire most and why?
I saw a video. A young girl who was 9 years old was being interviewed. She was above grade level in all her subjects. The video ended saying the girl was attending a school taught just by AI.
The teacher is the first adult social interaction the child gets once he or she leaves the comfort of their home when they are 3. It is really sad that social interaction was replaced by machines.
A teacher is not only teaches a subject but takes the kid and starts grooming. I love teachers who teach preschool and elementary school. I admire them a lot.
I am sharing a video from a teacher in a government school in Tamil Nadu, India. The students are from a low income community. They all have made globes and you do not need to understand the language to see how wonderfully they are interacting with her.
Yes, they may not be ahead by grade levels but they have a bright future ahead.
