A photo shoot

Mommy was nervous. Alvin’s first birthday photo shoot was that afternoon, and he seemed to have a cold. She had cleared all her schedule, and even dad was by her side encouraging the photo shoot. The party was next weekend, but the appointment with the photographer was today. After 5 years of trying, they had this beautiful bundle of joy.

She had to give Alvin his cold medicine, and it looked as if he was a bit drowsy. Did they need to cancel the appointment? was her thought. Dad and mom decided to risk it out and make it for the appointment. The photographer was a young girl. She was so good with A and cool too. A was smiling all the way through the different poses. Within a few minutes, they were shown multiple pictures on the computer screen of their little A, and everything worked out fine.

The proud mommy was ready to email the pictures to all her friends and family. But this was her favorite—the one A was chewing a block. His eyes were bright and expressive.
