Today I was watching a TV show and someone mentioned that they needed to be in Cancun, Mexico for a vacation. I immediately searched for ticketing options and if I fly in another ten days, a round trip ticket would just cost me 250 dollars. Wow, I did not know it was that cheap.

Anyhow, I am not flying to Mexico anytime soon. But the weather turned great today and I told my husband we need to check our vegetable patch. We thought we would clean it. I told my husband my boy should be involved in the clean up. Usually the clean up motivates us, since we get some potatoes from previous year. But today we just found one. I now know why the rabbits keep roaming our backyard. I am grateful they left this one alone.

So, when the clean up started my husband commented my son would not do a great job. I told him, if he is in the vicinity of the garden itself is much better than him being inside the house listening to something on YouTube. The past week, we have been picking up garden soil from Costco, they are cheap and usually run out of supply soon. So, he has been helping us pick up those too.

But he was more than great in using the rake (oh, that is what I think it was), to clear the soil and make the bed ready. He picked up the dried up plants and stuffed into garbage bags.

Yes, our gardening season has begun. We do not have Cancun beach weather, but some perfect conditions for being out and doing some hard core work.

By the way, do not think, my boy is being overworked. He went to an Easter party and really had to burn all that sugar off!
