Learning to peel

What is the last thing you learned?

This is a prompt thay showed up last Bloganuary and I had made up my mind to skip it.

But then I learned something new as I pulled my peeler to peel the carrots. This new peeler needed a trick or you would hurt your hand. Yes, finally I mastered the trick just an hour back. I also taught to my boy.

It is not rocket science or brain surgery. A simple task but it needed patience and there is a way it needed to be held. I should definitely log in as an achievement for the day!

  1. This peeler does look different from the old fashioned kind I have. Glad y’all learned how best to hold it. Hope it made it easy to peel things. 🙂

I have 3 peelers that look like that. They each have different blades on them. A straight blade that I use on potatoes and things like that. The blade you displayed I use for getting zest or peel fragments off citrus fruit, and one with a blade that has more teeth that I use to julienne carrots.
