Overthinking?

With some meal plan in mind I entered the grocery store today. But as I started picking up and as the cart started getting filled up, my brain just got overwhelmed. What was that overwhelming, it was drizzling outside and I was just overthinking how am I going to get them all inside.

But when it was time to load and unload, my husband and my special boy who were there with me just carried it inside the house with ease. In fact, at that point, I was so relieved and I quickly put all my groceries away fast. A chore that I hate the most.

We all overthink and over plan all the time. It is our nature to do so. We are told to me careful with money, health and things we do and decisions we make. It seems our brain is working overtime doing the same. We imagine the worst case scenario and worry about it.

Me and my husband were not trained to tackle and raise an autistic child. We were just handed one and we just rolled on with it. We both were living in hostels just a year my boy was before my son was born and we were not even worried about our next meal. We had that being handed in a plate (though I would say it did not taste so good). So there was no way we were planning on raising a special need child.

Anyhow I did stop a minute outside the shop and took a picture of these beauties. Maybe I should purchase one for my yard? But then I remember my cousin who talks a lot of minimalism. Maybe a sunflower is not bad? Just to relax and enjoy the moment and not over plan is what I need to do.

Just some ramblings and overthinking for the day.
