An ambitious project

Describe the most ambitious DIY project you’ve ever taken on.

The first time I put on a light bulb all by myself I was elated. Call me spoiled person I have never done any DIY projects on my own. Let alone an ambitious one. My husband has put together some shelves and built an indoor basketball hoop for the boys and I have completely supported him! My work stops there.

I think I have two left hands when I try to use tools and I have never touched anything other than a screw driver. A screw driver, I use it very rarely when I see a loose screw on any of my kitchen utensils 😊.

I applaud and appreciate people who build things on their own and maybe I am a fan. I used to watch shows on HGTV were they demolished an entire house and built new things from nothing.

To all the DIY people my salutations to you.🙏

This is a great prompt and I really had nothing to write 😃!

  1. Well I can agree that a DIY project is so therapeutic to the heart. You have nothing but your hands Ana materials that become something useful, artful and a permanent memory stamp of accomplishment. I struggle at times with these type of projects but I definitely respect those who count DIY based projects a skill they possess. How have being apart of such great partnership keep you focused on positive self esteem in all of your endeavors?

  2. I have helped my father repair many things but I don’t remember a diy done completely by him. My only accomplishment would be c to assemble the ikea furniture we bought in America. And I think it was not b something easy.

    1. IKEA furniture is so heavy. My husband assembled shelves and I made him tea 😊! I can’t even lift the box. So if you did that is great!

  3. I like doing DIY projects. I have done many in the past. I have found that it is sometimes easier when I don’t have my “Supervisor” supervising quite so much. 8)
