One of our photo frame broke a few days back. My in laws are no more and it was a photograph of them with my husband and sister in law taken nearly forty years ago.
To replace the picture frame took us a while since it is not easy finding the right size or if we do the we did not like the price. But finally we ended coming home with multiple frames.
Then the work began replacing the frame for not only that particular photograph but also some others. In the process I ended up rearranging the shelf that has our family photographs.
Each of the framed photographs have something sentimental attached to them but the best of them is me being with my special one for his prom. I grew up in India in a very conservative setting so dating or a prom was not a part of my High School Graduation package. But who knew I would be my son’s date for one of his special events in his life. That was the one day he dressed up formally (oh, he is so picky about his dress), and he looked so handsome.
