We are traveling this weekend. Our original plan was to visit New York City for Christmas but last minute change of plans we arrived in New Orleans. Yesterday we drove across four state borders and which completed a quest of covering all the states on the right side of this country! A fellow blogger had shared this map a few weeks back and we had missed just Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama in the list and we decided why not finish the quest off!

We also drove an extra mile yesterday and drove from New Orleans to Pensacola Beach, Florida yesterday and it was worth the drive!

So why do we make these trips? My boy enjoys road trips and loves staying in a hotel woom (room)! It makes him happy which in turn makes me happy too! My younger one took a minute long video of the hugs and kisses I got from my boy at the beach but this single shot was worth everything! We had to fly here and make the road trip which I will blog in detail when I get home but thought I would make a quick blog as I saw the prompt along with a picture that was taken yesterday!
