Tomatoes
It has been a warm week. The tomato plants have new flowers!!! By the end of next week, temperatures will be dropping and these flowers will not be able to survive. Feeling a bit sad for them. By the way tomatoes are fruits and not vegetables. I think this is one of the most cooked […]

Florist Daisy (Mums)
My Spring Mums faded and I put them aside only to notice a few days back they have buds and now I have Fall flowers. I never expected them to bloom again. Truly excited since I didn’t do anything other than water them even when they weren’t blooming. So next year when I buy these […]

Victory
My marigold and zinnias had to fight with the bunny in my garden for their survival. Every sprout was munched away. I feel with this full bloom, it looks as if they reached their finish line successfully. The plants were in an untenable position most of the summer but all of a sudden they finally […]

Nursery
Today was getting our hands dirty. My critters and the birds around the garden love my plants. It has been a struggle to grow plants from seeds, especially sunflowers and beans. To help the plants survive from birds and critters we found out nurseries helped. Once the plants develop a few leaves in our sun […]

Fragrant Planatain Lily
Another brown thumb plant says my plant app. But I did kill one of them last year. It was very tempting to pick more of these today at the nursery but settled by just taking pictures. It is time I maintain what I have already. Ragtag prompt was lilac and I thought I was hitting […]

As we moved to an independent house with the garden I planted them directly in soil and of course […]
