For Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge: Walk 50 steps or less and take new photos. My yard got trimmed and mulched. Looked like my plants got an hair cut. Crews worked all day and here are some pictures that I took this evening just walking out of my home. A fun challenge.

Yellow Daylily

This flower was hidden under a bush as my son hunted for yellow color in our garden as we did a nature color hunt! For Cee’s Flower of the Day!

Bearded iris

The flowers have both upright petals and cascading petals. At the center of the cascading petal is a small fur that looks like a beard. So comes the name. Even with the beard these flowers are snazzy! For Cee’s FOTD and Ragtag community’s word snazzy

Azaleas

For Cee’s FOTD Hope all the Mothers had a great Mother’s Day. I had a wonderful one with my boys messing around the kitchen and trying to come up with a breakfast, though I didn’t get any gifts 😀 my garden is getting vibrant with Azaleas. Azaleas from my garden are native to Japan.

Daffodils 🌼

A low maintenance bulb that seems to bloom on it’s own. It is also the first flower to bloom in my garden. Last week, I saw them sprouting but the weekend storm covered them with half foot of snow.
