The day began a bit dull and depressed. My husband told me not to throw myself a pity party. I may blame it on the weather but it may not be the only reason. I am a bit tired physically (even my husband) as my boy is a bit off. By the end of theContinue reading “A tiny bloom”
The weather dropped below freezing today morning. Again we are below our average. So it is like we are above or below average temperatures. It seems like Mother Nature wants all of us to get used to ups and downs. Is it not same with our lives. We will be walking more inside the recreationContinue reading “The cold has arrived!”
It has been a warm week. The tomato plants have new flowers!!! By the end of next week, temperatures will be dropping and these flowers will not be able to survive. Feeling a bit sad for them. By the way tomatoes are fruits and not vegetables. I think this is one of the most cookedContinue reading “Tomatoes”
My Spring Mums faded and I put them aside only to notice a few days back they have buds and now I have Fall flowers. I never expected them to bloom again. Truly excited since I didn’t do anything other than water them even when they weren’t blooming. So next year when I buy theseContinue reading “Florist Daisy (Mums)”

I do not shop at the garden center during fall. I am not confident about planting bulbs for the spring. But I did do some window shopping and found these beautiful lilies. My plant identification app called this Orange Lily and it seems it represents confidence, pride and wealth. For Cee’s Flower of the Day!
I found these plants in front of the visitor center in Ohiopyle State Park. Looked ornamental but they are perennial and native to North America. For Cee’s Flower of the Day!
These purple beauties were found on my walk on a Trail. When ingested in large quantities these plants are toxic for the life stock. Not an issue for me since I love anything that is purple and they are a feast to my eyes. For Cee’s Flower of the Day !
We are on a road trip this week and I am currently in Tennesse. I thought the plant outside my hotel to be rose but it looked different as I approached it closer. The leaves look like those of roses. For Cee’s FOTD
