Does this picture inspire you to write something?

When I was growing up my Grandfather was keen on reading the obituaries in the newspaper. It has been years since I have bought a printed newspaper and really sad that current generation has no clue about the excitement it used to bring when the paper landed early in the morning at our front door. This picture seems to represent the death of the print media and us reading it’s obituary.

Anyway the 24 hour news channels do keep us busy and the various social media platforms do keep our kids busy. We have all accepted this reality as technology advances.

    I think about the fact that kids no longer experience the funnies. So sad 😞

      It’s sad. Seems we are the in between generation who got to experience both print and online media!

So instead of writing about the death of the print media, I am going to write about the power of community.
