False Shamrock

It was St Patrick’s Day Party. Me and my son had fun playing so many games. But we did not have any Irish Luck as the games progressed. No prizes were won. My boy was behaving really good and he was moving all around and I was happy that he was enjoying the party. My son wanted to leave around 1.30 pm and it was getting late, but I pushed him for one more game of Bingo 😊. Okay, this was the last game and I did not push him to mark the card and I started marking all on my own and I was eyeing for this prize plant. A real shamrock plant, (called False Shamrock) and the facilitator told me she picked up the last pieces from our local Trader’s Joe. Few years back, we had won this and without knowing the plant survived all summer and even bloomed again early fall. As the last game proceeded I knew our 🍀 luck had changed as the numbers were called. I did get excited and shouted Bingo. I did not give my boy a chance to choose any prize and I went straight and got the plant! Truth be told, I really wanted to win today’s Bingo for this plant. I came home and checked but there aren’t any four leaf clover in it. I hope winning a plant means good luck for our upcoming spring planting.

By the way if any of you out there know how to maintain this plant please let me know in the comments section. I have bonded with this plant, I do not want to kill it.

For Cee’s Flower of the Day!

  4. LOL. I bond with my plants too. I get terrible guilt if they die.

  6. Looks like a nice plant. As for St Patrick’s Day, we don’t do too much but every year my boys make traps to catch the Leprechaun. No luck catching him so far.
